In our minds, as well as in moving images, we can make «improbable» connections and locate ourselves in places considered impossible. In my videoworks I try to elevate places from normative reality and portray them through fictional, metaphorical, or conceptual frameworks to share alternative understandings of places.

Cora Durmann, born in Oslo (1999), works with video and film. She recently graduated with BA in Time Based Media at HFBK Hamburg in the class of Prof. Jeanne Faust / Sung Tieu. She has a background as classical pianist, educated at Barratt Due Music institute in Oslo.
